Sadawatara boasts one of the most extensive and unique collections of Watsonia in South Africa. The director, Gavin Schafer, has been cultivating and selecting Watsonia for the past 16 years and grows a range of startling colour forms of both evergreen and deciduous species.

Our evergreen varieties include angusta, fourcadeii, galpinii, knysnana, pillansii and zeyheri.

Our deciduous winter growing varieties include borbonica, marginata, meriana, and vanderspuyiae.
